This app will continue to grow, evolve, and become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

My Contributions to the project:
  • Brainstormed and scoped new initiatives including interactive features and game modes
  • Live Ops Management to develop and release new features, Art direction and stability upgrades

An OTT and mobile streaming app that provided a non-linear innovative approach to choosing and watching content. The app provided users multiple ways to watch and navigate content along with personalization and machine learning to enhance the content recommendations. Nominated in 2018 for Best Consumer Experience by Disney’s Technology Innovation Group.

My Contributions to the project:
  • Led story mapping, agile ceremonies and production development of an advanced OTT and mobile app
  • Acquired, drove and reported on the project’s roadmap, plan of action and dependencies
  • Took a team more familiar with waterfall and implemented agile project management methodologies

Disney Movie Club is an e-commerce platform that allows users to purchase the entire catalog of Disney movies and TV shows. The website handles thousands of daily transactions all over the United States and Canada. The development of the website and infrastructure spans the entire globe and will continue to be a part of the on-going entertainment ecosystem of The Walt Disney Studios.

My Contributions to the project:
  • Led story mapping, agile ceremonies and production development on on-going initiatives
  • Took lead on program management – aligning all projects on roadmap, establishing communication and reports for stakeholders and adjusting priority of projects and resources based on changing landscape of home entertainment
  • Acquired, drove and reported on the project’s roadmap, plan of action and dependencies
  • Took a team more familiar with waterfall and implemented agile project management methodologies
  • Improved team process to be more efficient in communication and reduced friction between multiple development teams

Jelly Car 3

JellyCar3 is a driving/platforming game that’s all about driving a squishy car through squishy worlds, trying to reach the exit. JellyCar3 features soft body physics for all of the objects in the world. Also your car can transform for a limited time to aid progression through the level.

Bloomers! Island

An educational virtual world with a target market of preschoolers, Bloomers! Island is a quest to turn an acorn into your very own tree house. This involves a series of mini-games aimed at teaching children about the outdoors. A unique aspect of this game is to go outside and explore the real world. When the gamer visits arboretums and national parks for example, adventures are tracked by the Bloomers! Island GPS app to gain points and special items for their tree house.

My Contributions to the Project:
  • Produced a team of 15 developers on technical and art direction, client interaction, budgets, scheduling and risk analysis
  • Producer and Lead Designer of a development team tasked with creating eight games that progress the main story of the world
  • Directed a port from flash to IOS and Droid of three mini-games from Bloomers! Island


Rhythm

A 2D Flash and Flex based platformer for EA Games. The protagonist, Rhythm, is on a quest to recover the platinum disk that gives the world music and color. Sylence, the antagonist, has taken the disk, which quiets the world and changes people into colorless mindless drones. Rhythm has many nuances that create an overall immersive experience. As you turn on speakers in the world, color is restored to the background and foreground. When you restore the music in the game, the background changes and Rhythm gains strong new powers to overcome obstacles and defeat Sylence's army.

My Contributions to the project:
  • Produced a team of six on art and technical direction to create a 2D vector flash platformer for Electronic Arts
  • Formed design and collision detection XML files for seven levels in a shipped 2D vector flash/flex platformer


Silo
Edison Learning & Say Design

Silo is an online campus from Edison Learning that provides a virtual meeting place for students and teachers. Tutoring sessions, online video lessons, and interactive assessment activities are only a few of the features that are available. Course progression is easily tracked by both student and teacher to ensure a positive learning experience.

My Contributions to the project:
  • Producer & Lead Designer on a team of eight developers to create 10 flash 2D vector educational games for Silo 5.0
  • Lead Producer on a team of four to create an essay writing application that provides grammar and spelling fixes for Silo 5.0
  • Supervised a team of 15 voice actors to produce 1,100 educational videos for Silo 4.0
  • Associate Producer responsible for delegating art and code tasks, bug fixes, and manipulated copy for Silo 3.0
  • Created iteration test plans and managed internal and external testing for Silo 1.0 – 4.0
  • Managed deadlines and organized client requests for Silo 1.0 and Silo 2.0

Animal Jam is an online playground for children where they can learn about wildlife and the world with their buddies. Children pick animals as their avatars to work towards building their dens and going on quests to collect gems, special pets and to unlock achievements. Within the website, players and parents can watch videos about Animal Jam, purchase or redeem membership cards, and change numerous account settings.

My Contributions to the project:
  • Managed a team of eight on website and infrastructure development
  • Executed a roadmap of technical and enhancement initiatives in two week continuous sprint cycles
  • Helped prepare disaster recovery and scaling efforts for a globally expanding free to play children’s mmo
  • Guided project process through post mortems, conflict resolution, refactoring and taking the initiative on potential project bottlenecks
